Let me make it clear from the get go that, for me, nothing in pop culture will beat the return of The Mindy Project this week. After the 2-month hiatus fans were treated with two episodes this week. Each had a number of great moments, and I enjoyed reliving them here and here. Are you a fan? If so, what was your favorite moment?
While I know I've professed that nothing moved me quite like Mindy and the gang this week, since I couldn't get my favorite clip to embed, I want to share this delightful slam poem from Samuel L. Jackson about none other than Boy Meets World.
If you enjoyed that, you will also probably enjoy this picture of the cast of Girl Meets World. It will be interesting to see how this new show compares to the original. I know nothing made my year quite like running into Topanga at Disney World. Will today's youth fall under her and Cory's charms?
READ IT. I'm not sure if my lack of clips in this area mean it was a slow week on the 'ol interwebs, or if I just wasn't in a saving mood. Nonetheless I did enjoy this post from Jon Acuff about the difference between "greenhouse dreams" and "orchard dreams." I can remember when my family planted our orchard 20-some years ago, and waiting and waiting to finally pick our very own peaches. As tough as the wait and the labor can be, the fruit of that effort rarely disappoints.
As a lover of stories, and the idea that our lives speak volumes, I was moved by Emily Freeman's post this past Tuesday. Definitely need to keep thinking on this one.
PINNED IT, MADE IT, PROBABLY GOING TO LOVE IT. These ribs are currently in my oven and judging by the smell I can't imagine what could make me not love them. I'm also hoping to throw these in the oven tonight, because I have way too many of last summer's blueberries hanging out in my freezer.
